EMR for clinics
A modern EMR for solo and multi-staff clinics.
Electronic patient records with the consultation, the prescription, the payment and the next visit written against them. Built for a clinic’s day, not a hospital’s.
Most EMR software was designed for hospitals and then sold downwards to clinics, which is why a solo practitioner ends up with ward modules they never open and a record that lives apart from their bookings and billing. MedOS starts from the record a clinic actually keeps: who this patient is, what happened at each visit, what was prescribed, what they owe and when they are next due.
That record is written to by everything else in MedOS. Online booking creates or finds it. Self check-in puts the booking on it. The consultation writes notes and the prescription against the visit. Payment lands on the same visit. The follow-up is booked from the same screen, and the patient sees their own appointments, live status and history on their phone. For a solo practitioner that means one system instead of four; for a multi-staff clinic it means one record for a patient two doctors both see.
What the record holds
- One record per patient
- Visits, last seen, next appointment, outstanding balance, notes, prescriptions, documents, medical history, allergies and every message sent.
- Notes against the visit
- Structured notes with headings, lists, checklists and tables, autosaved as the practitioner writes. Previous notes one click away.
- Prescriptions on the visit
- Written beside the notes on the same visit and kept on the record’s Prescriptions tab.
- Access by role
- Admin, doctor, staff, allied professional, pharmacist and pharmacy assistant roles, with permissions enforced on every screen and route.
