Physiotherapy

Physiotherapy practice software built around the programme, not the visit.

Care is a programme of eight or ten visits, usually paid for as one. MedOS sells the programme, draws each visit from it, and shows who has drifted.

Physiotherapy does not fit software that bills one visit at a time. A patient is prescribed a course, pays for it up front or in blocks, and comes in two or three times a week. What the practice needs to know is how many sessions are left, who has stopped coming, and what was done last time. MedOS session packs are built for exactly that.

The pack is sold in the patient’s own booking flow with price, validity and number of sessions shown before they commit. Every visit is booked against it, the board card says “Session Pack · Revisit”, and no separate invoice is raised. A pack visit that passes its time with nothing booked lands in the overdue column, which is how the desk spots patients drifting off their programme early enough to call.

What MedOS adapts

Session packs, visits booked against the pack, overdue packs surfaced on the board.

A day on MedOS

How a physiotherapy practice runs on MedOS.

  1. 01
    Sell the pack

Care packages beside per-session pricing, chosen and paid at booking.

  2. 02
    Book against it

Each session draws down the pack. Remaining sessions and expiry are on the record.

  3. 03
    Treat and note

Session notes against the visit, with the previous session one click away.

  4. 04
    Catch the drift

Pack patients with nothing booked surface in the overdue column on the board.

Session packs

Built for how recurring care actually works.

Rehab, therapy and wellness happen over a course of visits, not one appointment. Most clinic software bills each visit as if it were the only one. MedOS treats the programme as the unit.

  2. Completed board card: Sonali Mehta, Session Pack · Revisit, 01:20 to 01:30 pm on Sep 03, 2026, view invoice
    Used
Each visit drawn from the pack

The board card says Session Pack · Revisit. No separate invoice for the visit.

  3. Board upcoming column: Arsh Rabbani, Session Pack · Revisit, 09:00 to 09:45 am on Sep 05, 2026 with Dr Sneha Nair
    Next
The next session, on the board

The next pack visit sits in the upcoming column. The patient sees the same date on their phone.

  4. Board overdue column: a scheduled Session Pack · Revisit that is past its time
    Overdue
Nothing booked surfaces on the board

Pack visits past their time with nothing booked land in the overdue column, where the desk sees them.

Packs are chosen in the same booking flow the patient already uses.

The patient picks a care package or a single session before confirming. Every visit after that is drawn from the pack, and both the practice and the patient see what is left.

Performance

Know what is happening in your practice.

A practice owner shouldn’t have to piece together bookings, attendance, revenue and follow-up to understand how the practice is doing. MedOS brings the operational picture into one place, so decisions are based on what is actually happening.

Movement Physio & Fitness

Physiotherapy is a course of sessions, not a single visit. MedOS lets us sell the programme upfront, book every session against it and see what is left, so patients stay on track and the front desk stops chasing payments.
