Pharmacy & inventory

Stock, expiry and reorders for the clinic’s own pharmacy.

Every medicine is tracked by batch, with expiry dates, reorder levels and suppliers, so the clinic knows what is on the shelf before a patient asks for it.

Clinics that dispense their own medicines often run stock from a notebook and find out about expired strips or empty shelves too late. MedOS keeps stock by batch: manufacturer, generic name, batch number, expiry, quantity and the shelf or rack it sits on. An expiry overview shows what runs out in the next 30, 60 and 90 days.

When a medicine falls below its reorder level it moves to the reorder queue with a suggested quantity, and a purchase order is generated for the supplier. Returns to a supplier produce a goods return note as a PDF that can be sent on WhatsApp, and every receipt, adjustment, return and write-off is written to the stock ledger.
